Pennsylvania stories

In 2000, fresh out of college, The Philadelphia Inquirer hired me into its 27-month correspondent program. It was incredible, especially because, to that point, I had only my four internships and a little time freelancing to call experience. By the end of my time there, I had a much better feel for the sort of autonomous reporting which allowed me to tell unseen stories, break important news and make other, shall we say, interesting discoveries.
